We were also treated with Rudy Burckhardt’s Charles Simonds: Dwellings, a film which captures the sculptor and architect and his miniature works among the dilapidated structures in the Lower East Side. Also shot in early 70s New York.
I love the part in the film where CS is working on one of his miniature architectures while kids are burning a car down in the background. That is true dedication!
